Due to unforeseen family circumstances, sadly the farm is currently on the market and due to current market and government guidelines (B&B's are allowed to open from the 17th May) it’s highly unlikely that we’ll be open for the summer season.
If you have stayed with us over the last few years, thank you so much for your support. We have loved meeting all of you.
We’d recommend speaking to Burleigh Court Hotel on tel 01453 883804, email reservations@burleighcourtcotswolds.co.uk or The Painswick on tel 01452 813688, email enquiries@thepainswick.co.uk if you want to stay in the area and the teams would love to book you in for your holiday in Stroud.
We are working our way through existing bookings and gift voucher purchases, If you haven't heard from us please do drop us an email hello@hammonds-farm.co.uk
The alpaca walking will be continuing for as long as the sale process allows, currently April 19th - 31st May. Please go to the Alpaca Walking page for further details.
Thank you for all your support and stay safe in these challenging times.
A new, luxury country Bed & Breakfast with sweeping views over the beautiful Stroud valleys. Freshly baked biscuits on arrival. Located near the pretty Cotswold market town of Stroud, Hammonds Farm is nestled in 100 acres of grassy farmland, resident to a large herd of alpacas, small flocks of Cotswold and Zwartbles sheep and the two much-loved horses Betty and her foal Waffle.
The newly renovated farmhouse sits within landscaped gardens featuring pear and espalier apple trees, as well as a patio with one of the best views in the area to complement evening drinks at sundown. Gin optional.
Our bedrooms are spacious and have the most stunning dual aspect views of rolling green valleys. A world away from city life, and easily accessible from the M4 and M5 with ample parking. Stroud railway station is only a ten-minute taxi ride away, with hourly trains from London, Birmingham and Cardiff.
The first meal of the day is served in our sunny breakfast room, with views over the rolling valley and down towards the pretty Cotswold market town of Stroud. Choose from a full English, with black pudding from Cumbria and bacon from Wiltshire, locally baked sourdough toast, or go Continental with freshly baked croissants and locally made jam - served with unlimited tea and coffee, plus a selection of fruit juices and tisanes. If you do have any specific dietary needs, these can be catered for also.
Stroud is on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment, it is also known as the five valleys.
So unsurprisingly it is quite hilly around us, this also lends to some stunning views and beautiful valleys to explore, along with some fantastic pubs!
